Here is one of my older pieces from one of several sculpture classes. Among the many things I am, I like to be a puppeteer. This is the peak of my Cheshire Cat series, Lilith. She is roughly four feet in all directions and her face is animatronic. When plugged in to a power source and some sort of music playing divice, she sings, her jaw moves and her eyes light up and blink all to the beat. To achive this, I scrapped a bad Chistmas singing tree and turned it into this. The rest is paper mache, hardware cloth, paper clay and fur.

Not anymore. She has just been scrapped - today, actually. There comes a time in every sculptor's life when they realize that the materials of certain pieces are more valuable than the current arrangement of said pieces. With this said, Lilith has been retired and may be reborn as something else.
