Fakemon Chupapup -Gift 1/3-
Part 1 of a few gifts/requests I took for friend Claire-Cooper on dA of a fakemon line they wanted done. THIS IS ONLY TO BE USED AND RE-POSTED BY HER! Theft of my work will not be tolerated!
For non-friends this sort of thing would have to be a commission probably starting at around $50 depending on how many stages and details, so don't go thinking I offer these as normal requests please. Comms are not open atm!
Anyway, I was given some ideas to run wild with, but I was also pretty free to do whatever came to mind for these, and really love how they came out. The line is based on Chupacabras and Reapers (for final stage), which you'll see more of in the other stages. It was tricky trying to come up with a design that would look like it could fit in the Pokémon universe while also keeping to my own style somewhat. Not to mention avoiding making them look like the other dog Pokémon lol.
Design wise for this, Chupapup is somewhat mangy and sickly looking, hence the naked back end, skeletal bone protrusions/growths (skull and ribs), and general sad look. They're not very strong either and are quite fragile, so aren't the easiest to train and therefore not seen in battles too often, at least not as main fighters. The spots on Chupapups are different on every one, similar to Spinda.
The inverted grayscaled image next to it is it's shiny form, inspired by the black and white style of old movies, horror ones specifically.
Hopefully the next stage will be posted soon, so keep a look out~!
