The Fantastic Four fought against Dr. Doom, and the X-Men against Apocalypse, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles teamed up against Shredder, the members of the Jedi Council faced the Battle Droids and the Geonosians, the marines from Hero’s Duty started blasting Cy-Bugs, the monsters from Hotel Transylvania gave a heavy beating to the Bat Cronies, the Pridelanders fought against Scar’s army, Rafiki once again gave the hyenas a Kung Fu styled beating, the Lion Guard fought against Vitani’s Evil Lion Guard, Captain Tarpals confronted General Grievous in a spear combat, Batman faced his greatest foes with the help of Robin and their allies, Toothless, the Light Fury and the Rescue Riders destroyed some zombies and took down some dinosaurs, and the Equestrians held Tirek, Cozy Glow and Queen Chrysalis. The Bespin Guard tried to board the Slave 1, but as soon as it started flying, he was taken down by the Stormtroopers’s shots.
“Pack! Formation: Wolf Tank!” the Alpha Wolf commanded, and his wolves assembled, forming a tank literally made of wolves. It started blasting the enemies.
When he saw his sister being chased by enemy wolves, Runt yelled:
“Claudette’s in trouble!”
Then, the ghost of Daria’s mother appeared to assist them and vaporize the evil wolves.
In the wolves’ side, Kate, Humphrey, Garth, Lilly and their pack fought against King and his rogue wolves, Robyn commanded her wolf pack into action against Lord Protector’s soldiers, Mebh and her mom fought alongside each other, Balto, Jenna and Aleu fought one more time against the grizzly bear, Feifei had a touching reunion with Briar, Bramble and Vick and teamed up with them to fight her former pack once again, both White Fangs faced Lip Lip and both Beauty Smiths, aided by Wheedon Scott and Collie, Gabu reunited with Mei and both fought against Gabu’s former pack, Freddy had to fight the Commander one more time, along with his Werewolf Pack, Batty and his stray friends, Alpha faced the sabretooth tiger and Grey, now reunited with Bianca and the rest of the sheep and wolves, fought against Ragear and his wolves.
During the battle, Balto spotted Doctor Strange and ran toward him.
“Now what?” Balto asked him.
“If I tell you what happens, it won’t happen.” Strange answered him.
Balto didn’t know what to expect, but he trusted the Sorcerer Supreme anyway. The Avengers planned to return the stones to where they came from, but Thanos had destroyed the Quantum Tunnel. However, they remembered they had another time machine, Scott Lang’s van.
“Has anyone seen an ugly van out there?” Cap asked out loud.
Kate used her alpha instincts to locate it. When she spotted it, she said:
“Right there.”
Clint went running to where the van was, while Ant Man and the Wasp headed to start it. However, the Fairy Godmother, the Black Order and other Thanos goons found out about this, so they tried to stop Clint and take the gauntlet from him. Clint defended himself, shooting arrows at his enemies, but as he was about to get surrounded, he was saved by Quicksilver, from the X-Men, who told him to give him the gauntlet. And that’s what Clint did. Running at the speed of light, Quicksilver evaded Thanos’s minions and headed toward the van. Then, he was suddenly hit by Thanos’s sword. But just as Thanos ran toward Quicksilver, he was confronted by Holo, the wolf demi-godess! Transforming into her wolf form, she attacked Thanos as best as she could. Soon, she nearly had the Mad Titan on the ropes! Thanos yelled:
“Rain fire!”
“But sire, our troops!” Corvus Glaive complained.
“JUST DO IT!”
Thanos’s ship began to fire wildly at everyone and everything, even the bad guys, and caused a flood. Doctor Strange hurried to stop it. Just as the heroes were about to fall by the ship’s fire, it started firing at another direction.
“Friday, what are they firing at?” Iron Man asked his A.I.
“Something just entered the upper atmosphere!” Friday answered.
Then, the ship’s target showed up… Amaterasu, the Japanese wolf goddess of the sun! Flying swift as the wind, Ammy crushed Thanos’s ship section by section.
Meanwhile, Aleu was busy facing Niju, when suddenly, she said to him.
“Niju, please stop! Helping Thanos won’t do anything good!”
“And why do you say so?” Niju said.
“He doesn’t really care about us wolves! He won’t give us any resources to live! He’s even capable of killing us all! Please, Niju… Join me… I can help you… and I can help the entire pack!”
Surprisingly, Niju accepted to join the good guys, and fought alongside Aleu. The battle kept on. After a while, Niju spotted Quicksilver, still carrying the gauntlet, and trying to get to the van. He was under immense enemy attack.
“That guy seems like he’s in serious trouble.” Niju said.
“Don’t worry, he’s got help.” Aleu said.
“We’re wolves! We got this together.” Robyn said.
A group of female wolves, including Kate, Lilly, Eve, Daria, Robyn, Mebh, Moll, Aleu, Feifei, Alpha, Bianca and Amaterasu teamed up to face Thanos’s troops and attacked Thanos to stop him from reaching Quicksilver and the gauntlet. However, Thanos hurled his sword toward the van, just as Quicksilver was about to get to it, and BOOM! Flying away by the explosion, Quicksilver dropped the gauntlet. Balto, Robyn and Humphrey fought their best, but they were easily defeated by Thanos. Then, the Mad Titan tried to grab the gauntlet, but he was confronted by Amaterasu, who was easily thrown away by him. Thanos put on the gauntlet, and felt the energy of the gems rushing through his veins. Just as he was about to snap his fingers once again… Amaterasu pounced on the gauntlet and tried to take it off Thanos’s arm. Thanos tried to kick her, but Ammy didn’t flinch, and kept pulling the gauntlet. Then, Thanos plucked the Power Stone from the Gauntlet and used it to attack Ammy with a powerful uppercut. Howling, the wolf goddess was sent flying away. At the sight of this, Balto seemed distraught. He turned to look at Doctor Strange, who raised his index finger. Balto knew what to do. His family and the universe had to be saved, no matter the cost. As Thanos put on the gauntlet again, Balto pounced on it, trying to take the stones from it, but he was knocked aside by Thanos. The Mad Titan adjusted the gauntlet and said:
“I am… inevitable.”
It seemed like Thanos had won again… or had he? When he snapped, nothing happened. He looked at the gauntlet and realized it had no stones! Balto had taken them, and put them in a new nanotechnology gauntlet. Much to Thanos’s horror, he said:
“And my name… is Balto.”
SNAP!
Suddenly, Balto found himself in a strange place. Everything was orange. But he wasn’t alone. Nava and Aniu were in front of him.
“Where am I? What happened?”
“It’s ok, son.” Aniu said. “You saved them all.”
“But, my family… my friends… They need me!”
“Don’t worry. They’ll be fine. We’ll be with them… always.”
“But, what about your pack, Nava? They need you, too!”
“There’s no need to worry about that anymore.” Nava said. They will soon welcome a new leader.”
Balto knew he talked about his daughter, Aleu.
“And the universe is safe, thanks to you. You will always be remembered as the hero you are… Balto, the legendary wolf-dog.”
“Now, come, son.” Aniu said. “It’s time for us to go…”
Combining their powers, the Fantastic 4 defeated Dr. Doom, and so did the X-Men with Apocalypse. Working together, Mario, Luigi and the Yoshis took Bowser down, just like Sonic with Dr. Eggman, the Kongs with K. Rool, Samus with Ridley and Mother Brain, Pit with Hades, Kirby with Dedede, Star Fox with Andross and the Pokemon with Mewtwo. Wolf Link hunted down Beast Ganon and Midna destroyed Zant using the Fused Shadow. Mace Windu ran toward Jango Fett and, after successfully deflecting the shots from his blasters, he beheaded the bounty hunter. A light beacon was turned on, attracting all cy-bugs and Cy-bug King Candy and destroying them, the bat cronies tried to run away, but one by one, they began to disintegrate! And so did most of the villains that had joined Thanos’s army. The Fairy Godmother checked herself to see if she had suffered any harm, but just as she prepared for another attack, she turned to dust. Cozy Glow, Chrysalis and Tirek were turned to stone and shattered to pieces. Scar’s Ghost ceased to exist as his army disintegrated. All evil wolves disintegrated in front of their rivals. While being held by Bill Goodfellowe’s wolf teeth, Lord Protector hearkened his soul in God’s hands and vanished.
Defeated, and with his army gone, Thanos had no other option than to sit down, waiting for his demise to come… which shortly after happened.
Balto collapsed to the ground. Since he was no cartoony wolf, he ended badly injured by the snap, and he could hardly breathe. Kate, Humphrey, Aleu, Niju, Jenna, Boris, Muk and Luk approached him.
“Dad, dad, are you ok?” Aleu said, desperately. “We did it, dad. We won… we won, dad, you made it… dad…”
She began to cry.
“No, please, don’t…” Humphrey said in tears. “Please, don’t do this…”
Jenna walked toward him, while Boris, Muk and Luk looked from afar, crying.
“Ungh… It’s ok…” Balto said.
“Listen… You did enough.” Jenna said. “We’ll be fine… You can finally rest.”
Upon saying this, Balto calmly passed away.
Humphrey let out a sad and heartbreaking howl. Kate joined him, and so did Jenna, Aleu, Garth, Lilly, Winston, Eve, Tony, and all wolves who had gathered there, even Amaterasu.
When grief passed, peace and joy slowly returned to the world.
Jenna decided to regularly visit her sons and daughters and give them the love she gave to their father.
The Niju that had been brought to the present from another timeline by Thanos was returned to his original timeline, but Aleu knew what to do. She had to do the same with the Niju from her timeline. She was also preparing to take the leadership of Nava’s pack in his place.
Kate and Humphrey reunited with their pups. The family was complete once again!
Bill Goodfellowe reunited with his daughter, Mebh, Moll and the rest of the Wolf Pack and resumed his life as a WolfWalker.
Feifei decided to stay a little while with her friends Briar, Bramble and Vick.
The older White Fang at last got to see his mother again, and the younger White Fang reunited with his master, Wheedon Scott, his mate Collie and his pups. Young White Fang could finally comprehend why he was transported to the main reality from his dimension. It was the bond between him and Older White Fang. It was so strong, that it could even travel between dimensions! So Young White Fang decided to stay with his older self for a while.
Alpha stayed in the present, too. However, she would soon have to return to the prehistory with Keda.
Freddy Lupin resumed his days at Howlington Academy, reunited with Batty and the rest of his friends.
Gabu and Mei were together again, and continued to live their life as best friends.
Grey reunited with Bianca and both kept living a happy married life at their home.
As for the Avengers, Clint and Scott returned with their families, T’Challa kept ruling over Wakanda along with his mother and sister, Spiderman reunited with his friends at the school, Tony Stark was alive and returned with Pepper and Morgan. Natasha was alive, too, and reunited with Professor Hulk. Thor left his friend Valkyrie in charge of New Asgard and joined the Guardians of the Galaxy, who were together again.
Finally, Steve Rogers had the mission of returning the stones to their original place in time. However, after he did, he decided to go back to the 40’s to live his dream life with Peggy Carter, the girl he had seen again when he and Tony travelled to the 70’s to grab another Tesseract and more Pym particles. Soon after, Steve returned to the present as an old man, and reuniting with his friends, Bucky and Sam, he gave his shield and the Captain America mantle to Bucky.
“How does it feel?” Steve asked, after Bucky tried on the shield
“Like it’s someone else’s.” Bucky said.
“It isn’t.”
“Thank you, I’ll do my best.”
“That’s why it’s yours… White Wolf.”
Falcon asked Steve:
“Will you tell us about her?”
“No… No, I don’t think I will.” Steve answered.
He thought for a while and said:
“Bucky, what does an old man do after he retires?”
Marcel and Paddy, the golfing goose and the caddie duck who were friends of Kate and Humphrey, showed up. Marcel said:
“Gentlemen, may I introduce you to… golf?”
Sam and Bucky looked confused.
“Fore!” Marcel shouted.
He hit a golf ball with his stick and it flew away. That night, a great party began at Jasper Park, Canada. All wolves gathered there for a Moonlight Howl, including Aleu, Niju (who was now starting to become good), Robyn, Mebh, Bill Goodfellowe, Moll, Feifei, both White Fangs, Freddy, Batty, Gabu, Mei, Alpha, Grey, Bianca, Stinky, Claudette, Runt, Marcel, Paddy, Winston, Eve, Tony, Garth, Lilly, and more! They all singed, danced and howled at the moon to celebrate that everyone was back, and the universe was once again safe and sound. Even some Avengers were there, dancing! Then, Kate and Humphrey prepared for the big finish.
“Are you ready?” Humphrey asked his wife.
“Oh, yeah. Ready.”
Both wolves howled together as beautiful as they could, while the spirits of deceased wolf relatives watched from the heavens. They were Aniu, Nava, Hunter (Feifei’s brother), Young White Fang’s father, Gabu’s mother, and Balto, who howled majestically into the night, followed by northern lights. And every wolf lived happily ever after.
