Kou is a skilled enough hacker to have tampered with his account data and avatar, down to voice modulation, enabling him to pass as a woman while in EDEN. "Hikari" isn't directly affiliated with any hacker team, instead doing odd jobs for anyone that pays 'her' properly for 'her' time.
Whereas Anri, as a member of team Zaxon, wishes to uphold order and peace in their digital utopia, so much like Hudie and Aiba he's a cyber sleuth and something of a 'trouble consultant' for EDEN users and Digimon in trouble.

Anri and Hikari have teamed up for a few jobs on Yuugo's request, and the awkward-yet-competent young man piqued Hikari's interest. 'Her' online persona is very confident and flirty, so naturally Anri gets a fair share of verbal teasing and casual skinship.
