Take a look at this scene.

I’m not sure what’s going on in the foreground. It looks like two of the cyno tribes have gone to war and one side has caught a prisoner from the other side and has brought them before their leader to either interrogate or taunt them. The leader and his guard don’t seem to realize that the prisoner has a knife. It looks like something about to happen.

But I know little about it.

Instead look at the painting on the right.

It’s a nice painting isn’t it?

That’s Oevcn the Brave. The greatest hero among our fathers. His mother was Favcn of Kavi, who freed herself and led the rebellion that destroyed the Miscabbard Cult. His father was Numen the Curandero, who led the Yellow Rock Tribe during the wars with the Dominion settlers. At a young age, Oevcn fought in the Arcadian Revolution with famed heroes such as Chancellor Jayna and the Stanton Dragon. He once saved the rebellion by himself bridging the Nerva to allow the army to cross. After returning to his tribe, Oevcn had unified the Cyno people at the Kethtippecanoogi Council. He then allied with the minotaurs, defeated the Overmountain men sent to destroy us, and set up a new land in Yahzoo that was recognized by the Arcadian Republic for his role in the revolution. He was a legend.

One of these days, I will tell you more about him. Not tonight however. Tonight we'll see who wins this coming fight under Oevcn's watchful eyes.
