It just happened with time and isolation. When Slayer was a youngling the were stol a few he and the with a sharp shell tooth. But it had become a rare site post any noy freshly hatched young. Just thinking here, but if you have a Yinglet (Or a anyone rly) clever enough to be able to make fire after seeing it done just one time, then if you take the time to explain how dangerous it is and WHY it's not taught to just anyone, then wouldn't they be clever enough to realise that because you explained why and didn't just say 'Don't do dhis', theyr'e being trusted enough to not share with anyone... and also incidentally to not burn down the enclave and the entire forest.
