A World of Masks

What is true?
What is false?
In a world of masks,
I remove mine,
And show my face.

But to those still behind theirs,
Do they see me for me,
Or do they believe it is still a mask.
The loner who hides with silence,
Or the observer who looks before he leaps.
Which do they see?

It is a rare to find another who does not hid behind a mask.
But in this world,
Where everyone must conform,
Where that trend is in,
Where that style must be worn,

The masks become harder to see than ever.
And yet they are everywhere.
Donning the faces of the nameless masses,
Those who would rather be one of many,
For fear their true face is not enough.

Though the truth will not always set you free,
Though the truth will not always feel right,
Though the truth is not always the best,
I believe most definitely,
There is one truth you should never hide.

What is true?
What is false?
In world of masks,
Remove yours,
And show your face.

Never forget what makes you who you are.
Always be true to yourself.
And never let anyone put you down because of who you are.



Well I was bored and after reading http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4159578/ and some other stuff by  EthanBlack I felt inspired to write this

..which is weird since I normally hate writing
