So, after drawing a swamp drake yesterday, I felt like drawing yet another one. This time going in a more classic, fiery direction.
Behold! The Flame Drake.
Flame drakes are typically encountered in vulcanic areas where they hide among the rocks in order to ambush some poor, unsuspecting prey. If they fail at pinning down their victim with the initial pounce, they resort to using their flame breath.
Being less armored than their swampy relatives, flame drakes act more cautiously when patroling their hunting grounds. Their fire attacks are their primary method of both attack and defense.
