Known as the habitable sector for Ranchers, the Massive Frill Range is home to all sorts of Trail Maids of many types and the Ranchers that use their orbas. However, only Trail Maids use the waters that surround the landmasses. The Fabric Ocean that covers most of the Massive Frill Range is something of a mystery. It is seemingly a mixture of water and fabric that is believed to be the primordial pool where all Trail Maids’ main bodies and dresses emerged, though its true purpose is entirely unknown by even the most esteemed Trail Maid scientists.
What is known is that the liquid found within the Fabric Ocean is not fit for drinking, watering crops, or even swimming, as most things seem to quickly sink to the bottom. When a Trail Maid enters the Fabric ocean, it quickly vanishes, but it is widely believed that this far from ends the Trail Maid’s existence, for Trail Maids that enter the Ocean can often be seen quickly returning back on land, happy as ever. In fact, many Trail Maid scientists believe that Trail Maids use the Ocean as a means of transportation, moving swiftly below the surface and popping out on land wherever they see fit.
But all theories aside, one fact remains very clear, most especially to ranchers: don't enter the Fabric Ocean!
1. The Bodice Patches
The environment surrounding the ranch is known as the Bodice Patches and is an arid, wind-swept land covered in dusty crags and rocky cliffs shaped by the wind over the millennia.
The Bodice Patches is primarily home to Pink, Tabby, and Rock Trail Maids though Phosphor Trail Maids will also come out from hiding when the sun sets. The Bodice Patches’ climate doesn't make for abundant of any particular resource, but there are plenty of Celery, Lavendapples and Maid-Hens, as well as some less common resources if you know where to look.
2. The Bonnet Jungle
The Bonnet Jungle is an island covered with a thick layer of moss where flora grows wild in great, tangling knots at every turn. The high walls of the cliffs surrounding the island and its great canopy of trees allow for sea mists to pass in and become trapped, creating a unique climate within the otherwise arid range.
The Trail Maids primarily found within the Bonnet Jungle find its jungle-like conditions perfect: Tabby and Boom Trail Maids hunt their prey through the thickets with abandon, and Honey Trail Maids lounge in the flower beds, eating the great abundance of fruit that can be found at every turn.
3. The Parasol Canyon
The Parasol is a winding network of caves and cliffs, striated with deep purple hills from the rare minerals found within it. It was once the site of a mining project but went bust after the discovery that the rare ores it produces quickly break down in the atmospheres other than that of the Massive Frill Range.
It was later discovered that the means to harness these metals was via Rock Trail Maid orbas. Somehow, Rock Trail Maid orbas preserve the minerals within, a process that eludes even the most prestigious Trail Maid scientists.
The Parasol Canyon is a natural home for Rock Trail Maid and the more elusive Rad Trail Maid, and its naturally mineral-rich soil make it a great place to harvest most wild veggies.
4. The Locks of Secrets.
The Locks of Secrets act as a bridge between the Bonnet Jungle and the Ancient Timely Manors. Trail Maids of all types treat the area with great reverence as it is said to lead towards the Spark.
The Locks hide a great secret for an area that is uninhabited. However, it's unknown to the Trail Maids if the secret has been found before.
5. The Ancient Timely Manors.
Hidden behind the Locks of Secrets, the Ancient Timely Manors stand as one of the few known unnatural collection of structures on the Massive Frill Range. Their origin remains a mystery, as do the strange occurrences that happen within.
Home to Quantum Trail Maids that seem to express many other possible realities of their being, and Shift Pear trees that do not remain in one place or time for very long, the Ancient Timely Manors defy logic and expectation.
Only one thing is certain in the Ancient Timely Manors: within their dark streets lies their greatest secret.
6. The Untamed Hoops
The Untamed Hoops are an ancient, untamed collection of islands that are home to an enormous population of feral Trail Maids. All of these Trail Maids are Hybrid descendants of Saber Trail Maids, one of the oldest known species of Trail Maids.
Maya Meniz once explored The Untamed Hoops and discovered the rare Targa fruit growing within. Since then she has contracted out the dangerous task of collecting these fruits to anyone willing to take on the risk.
7. The Swift Tracks
The Swift Tracks are a wholly-owned property of Sakura Softbloom and the only known habitat of the exceedingly rare Quicksilver Trail Maids.
Sakura uses a complex system of proprietary electrical generators to call Quicksilver Trail Maids out from hiding and then a modified vac-skirt to feed them charges of electrical energy. The Swift Tracks are also rigged with a series of warp-tech satellites that instantly transfer Quicksilver orbas into a rancher's vac skirt, because according to Sakura, having to vac up orbas manually "is for bumpkins."
HH-Helen Hemsoft's Ranch
The Ranch is the main base of operations for Helen Hemsoft. The young rancher is free to do tasks and organize The Ranch's plots however she likes. She can put Trail Maids on a Trail (or keep them free range if she so chooses), grow Food in a Crop Replicator, upgrade the Vac-skirt, sell farmed orbas and use the Range Exchange to trade with other Ranchers. Furthermore, aspects of her ranch can be modified using the FrillCorp. Rewards Club upgrade path.
AA+SS-Alexis Allfrill and Sophia South's Private Heaven
A small island north of the Bonnet Jungle, Alexis Allfrill and her wife enjoy a nice, quiet life together. From there, Alexis can still explore the Massive Frill Range and check in on Helen once in a while. She always enjoys a good adventure.
MM-Maya Meniz's Getaway
Maya built this little getaway as a place where she could take a break from her ranch and collect her thoughts. But soon it led to an obsession as she discovered the nearby Untamed Hoops, and the tasty Targa fruit within.
SS-Sakura Softbloom's Southern Citadel
Sakura’s Southern Citadel is one of several of its kind, (and this one isn't even the best one) owned by the great Sakura Softbloom. Her accomplishments are known throughout the galaxy, earning her the respect of every rancher on the Massive Frill Range. Other ranchers can't even compete. They were even going to give an award to Sakura, but she said no thanks.

BOB- Beatrice, Olivia, and Barbara's Outpost
Run by a trio of Pink Trail Maids, the Outpost serves as a sort of watchtower for the Locks of Secrets. People need to prove themselves clever enough to find the key to unlock the way to the Ancient Timely Manors.
CC-Cassandra Circumfrill's Laboratory
Deep below the Fabric Ocean, Cassandra’s Laboratory is one-part laboratory, one-part ranch that Cassandra developed herself. The laboratory houses her Maidulation system that is currently filled with bugs and technical glitches and in need of further testing. Because of this, Cassandra has moved on to an unknown, new project somewhere on the Massive Frill Range while she seeks a partner to help troubleshoot the Maidulation.
Though the laboratory's undersea nature provides a dramatic effect, it is an extremely practical decision in that the Fabric Ocean provides a natural cooling system for the tremendous amount of heat the Maidulation generates. This unnatural warming effect on the Fabric Ocean is a top priority of Cassandra's, and she has stated that if she cannot reduce Maidulation heat output significantly in the near future, she will shut the entire project down for fear of harming the natural environment.
