This is a page of doodles
Feeling slightly ARTISTICALLY FRUSTRATED so I figured if I just barfed up a load of doodles I'd feel better so... that's exactly what I did today!
CONTENTS INCLUDE:
- a cutesy lookin' Anubis based off that one statue that I'm sure you all recognize. This is probably my favorite thing on here and was also the first thing I drew, ahaha.
- a mummified jackal thing... I really like mummies. And, I like this. Using this idea again no matter how cliche, lame and obvious it may be <_<;
- one of my in-development werewoofs, Mathias. His colors will probably change, I'm just uh... preparing early for Halloween, obviously.
- a...red crocodile thing... I don't know okay, I like crocs ;w;
- serpent Nemph being SASSY
- Anubis again, this time lookin' fly and fashionable~
- a black squirrel. Because they're cute and I am highly amused that Ontario has black squirrels with tufted ears; I had never seen one before and the squirrels back home are grey-brown. I'm not the only one, seriously. People back home are like "did you see any moose in canada?" "No, but their squirrels are BLACK AND TUFTY!" "WOAHHHH".
-and lastly, a chain chomp and a piranha plant. I totally ship it, clearly they are destined to be.

omg, I AM JEALOUS. I haven't been to the Toronto airport but I know the one in Buffalo is lame and... more lame >:C
And yes, I agree! I was just way too lazy to draw Sobek and his GIANT GODDAMN HAT and although I kinda wanted to draw a mummy-croc I wasn't sure how to go about it xD IT WILL HAPPEN THOUGH.

GKJHJKHJK SQUIRREL <3 some squirrels around the Detroit area and around Milford, MI, have both black, white, gray, and the chestnut(?) coloured ones XDD EXOTIC SQUIRRELS. It reminds me slightly of allerlei(dA)'s little signature/watermark thing.

Yeah I can't wait 'till it gets to be a better temperature for them and I see them more often ;w; so prettyyyyyy. And I mean, I think you're -technically- right about the code thing, since they flash to communicate to one another. SO IT IS LIKE A CODE. SORTA 8D
And he's just used to them, I guess xD though we had fun looking for them in the wooded area we were in. To be fair, he was quite amazed at how gigantic the seagulls were in Seattle and I was like "WHAT'S THE BIG D?"

Yeah they're common here, in Hamilton too.

You might like fox squirrels. They're black with white ears and feet.

Back when I lived in Maryland I always saw those grey-brown squirrels and that was it. Then one time I saw a black one, and after that out of nowhere I would see TONS OF BLACK SQUIRRELS EVERYWHERE. It was like they all came out of nowhere.
Now I live in Florida and there are no squirrels... But there are lizards and gators and frogs which is cool.
Also, just last weekend I mentioned that I want a giant Anubis to guard my room while I slumber.
Personally, I like the last one you drew. The first one looks a bit too much like a statue, whereas the other one is more like a big sexy jackal >:3
And as for the mummy idea, go for it! I don't think it's lame or overdone at all.
So that's my critique. I love your doodles. They're so... surreal.

LOL, that squirrel looks really outta place. Despite being surrounded by monsters n' jackal's n' crocs, it seems fairly complacent. :V
The flat coloring on the squirrel gives it a real cool silhouette effect. And I love the way you drew the teeth of the mummy.
