Enter Super Nova (COLOR WORK IN PROGRESS)
Hi guys!
Just uploading a small crop of my "Enter Super Nova" piece ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4018827 ) . This is about 20 hours in of the rendering. The way I went about it is how I would render a acrylic piece X3
Wanted to show i'm still working on this. Its a fun little exercise to familiarize myself with digital art. I've had to put it on hold multiple times due to working on deadlines for the Rare 2011 caldendar and commissions.
Still alive, still working on art, just very busy X3

Looking forward to the final version! I just picked up drawing a few months ago and am playing around with color pencils, but am looking to explore acylics - would you happen to have any good book to recommend?

........... this most extraordinary. Very pretty and realistic. I get the sense of weight of her head and facial features. Plus the fur looks real down to the smallest detail with the way the folicals of fur stand out, grove over parts of her face, stand out from one another beautifully.
