A personal piece that honestly took far too long, and really shouldn't be reflective of my current abilities. It was made more difficult as I didn't do it all at one go, and since I have been changing and improving my shading/lighting and linework style quite a bit over the last month, it was becoming more and more difficult to work on this piece. I made many mistakes, such as starting it on a too small of a canvas, changing the resolution, making the linework too complicated, inconsistent shading, and poor composition planning. Today, I finally said I had enough of it, and wanted to at least upload a part of it rather that it being left in a pile of incomplete works I have piled up. So I cut out Lotte from the image, quickly did some shade and lighting work on Fus, minor teaks to Elke's shading, and then made some broad shading on the background. Took about 2 hours, and I found it presentable enough. It's not my best work, and many more things should probably be tweaked and fine tuned. However, I am at least somewhat content with it. I learned a lot of things in the process of working on this piece, and has helped me improve my art significantly.

I do want to make this into a series somewhat, but I have been slowly realizing that Dark Souls III came out five years ago, so this is a bit past it's prime. Therefore, it might be best for me to save my effort until Elden Ring is released before diving into an art series on a video game. :-P But, if you want me to draw more Dark Souls content, then let me know!

Also, I do want to stress that I am not stating that my character is Vilhelm, or that Elke is Sirris. I just like their armor sets. :-P
