In the bright blue sky, the seagulls cried above his head as he stepped onto the sandy beach, the waters of the bay lapping at the shoreline. A gentle breeze blowing past the cliffs and over the mossy rocks to his back. Kili took in a shallow breath, to anyone this would have just been another pretty bay, but to him, it was as much home as anything else. 'Better place than any to try this.' he thought. He settled down on a small rock, sensing the warm sand shift beneath his feet. Pulling the sword out and resting it along side him, he started to will the orb into existence. 'Okay Kili... you've got the perfect place... you can make this embuing trick work!'
And here is the other commission I had recently! Again, other than the basic idea, I let KIRI do her own thing, and she did a billiant take on that basic idea! Between the background and Kili's appearence (harkening back to his old design alongside the sword from the last YCH), it's personally her best piece to date! The basic idea of a beach location stems from a real life place I used to goto often in the past. I suppose I was feeling very nostalgic and Red managed to capture how it looked brilliantly!
