not really a recipie but maybe  ~FACCC2 might get akick out of it

At work yesterday the meal was beef pot pie and the way we serve it to the residents is that we make the farce and wen we serve it to the residents the top it with a triangle of puffed pastry.

I had some time and was kinda bored with some time to kill and the head chef gone so I wanted to see if I could mock up a baklava using the frozen puff we had on hand. Looking about we have almost no nuts (i did find some pecans and some toasted almond slivers) and we had no honey (amazing a kitchen with no honey) so I had to mock something up for that too.

I mixed some chopped pecans with some caramel dessert topping, I then chopped the toasted almonds and made a syrup by cooking down a mini can of coke and some powdered sugar. I blended that with the almoands. I did two rough batches and they came out well though they didn't puff well cause of the nuts sprinkled onto. Both were tastey but the servers really dug into the coke a cola flavored versions and I got none back
