
Here’s a rare sight! Ever see railroad tracks being used while almost being completely underwater? Now you have. These were at the FG&A yard in downtown Pensacola, Florida. It had rained for part of the day before and it had done so to a degree where this yard had track that was completely submerged in some places. Now I’m curious to see if a rail car can hydroplane despite being in excess of 20 tons in tare weight.
