I love doves! You seem to know what you're doing with them too, So I have a question. How does one get rid of mites? I think they are feather lice as she is not irritated by them on her body, but they rest between her feathers and when shes patted they cling to the tips of her feathers. Any idea?
there are powders you can get form the petstore or a vet that will take care of them. Also when you do dust them, make sure you bleach clean the care (rinsing very well afterward) to kill what might be hiding there. You can't bleach wood, so toss wood items and buy new.
