I realized I haven't posted this here from Twitter before, mostly because I got reminded to this due to being recently excited with the news that we got from the upcoming Sonic the Movie sequel coming this 2022!~ 8D
I love that I could get to work on a variety of muscle sizes here, with this complex poses, while still maintaining closely to their original slender looks. ^w^

Hopefully in the sequel they add some muscle to Knuckles. Because the Knuckles you drew you looked epically sexy.
postscript: in my opinion, and unlike what most people think on the internet, I think the problem was not "the muscles" that were put on Sonic's body, but the design of the face in the first version.

They kind of slightly added that build on his torso according to those photo set leaks x3
I mean, not the same as what's drawn here of course, but Knuckles does look "thicker" in that set model, if you saw those leak images on set =3
Knuckles also is taller in the movie design as well~
(And yes, the face design was the major problem in the first film for Sonic xD
Glad the creators listened to the fans . . . even though to the detriment of the animation team behind Sonic that later got disbanded ^^; )
