Magical dueling, maybe spectacular to watch compare to sword fights and such, but its by far, much more dangerous to do. The Danager Alliance pose a ban on underage dueling, and in today, this type of fighting usually only seen in competitions.


David and Othang loves magic, but also knows about its potential dangers. When they believe that they aren't being watch on their off time in the military boot camp, the Human and Tusand goes to a secluded spot to practice their magic skills. This instance, David miscomprehended his Shield spell protecting against Othang energy shot, the shot exploded after bouncing off the spell, and David had to expand the spell to block the explosion, but misjudge the height for it.
