Retal - Retal is the most populous landmass in the entire world, consisting of the countries of Everton, Fel’tari, and The Kingdom of Beasts. It also contains the infamous Deadlands. It has quite a temperate climate, with rolling grasslands and hills along with forests spread around, with a few jungles to the North near the equator. Located in the eastern hemisphere, stretching from Fel’tair in the southern hemisphere to The Kingdom of Beasts near the equator.Country
Everton - Everton is only a piece of Retal, full of large stretches of grasslands, hills, and a great forest. Bordered to the south by The Deadlands and to the north by the Kingdom of Beasts. The stretch of land is named after the largest city in the known world, Everton. It is known as the birthplace of Humans and is where they’ve thrived. But they are not alone.Cities
Mushroom Village - At the entrance to Everton’s Underdark, the deep dwelling Fungusfolk established a village to trade with the surface world. The Fungusfolk in their Mushroom homes do not have much to offer in trade to many, however alchemists and magic users often will trade them for magical substances that grow in the underdark.
The Crawling City - Established on the back of a gigantic spider, The Crawling City never has a single location making it impossible to mark it on any map. The city was founded by a wizard three decades ago who tamed the massive spider. While the old wizard has been long dead, the spider still serves its purpose now being a city where adventurers traveling the Underdark stop. The city has no living residents, and is inhabited only by the dead wizards still functioning constructs.Notable Locations
Fomorian Grove - Past the Mushroom Village in the Everton Underdark, sits a water filled grove inhabited by the twisted giants of the deep. The area is shrouded by mist from a waterfall that spills from the surface, but none have dared to venture into the grove.
Temple of the Plague God - Worshipping the god of disease and vermin, Pestancei, the Temple of the Plague God sits as a major holy site to the god. Inhabited by ratmen, many have been kidnapped and dragged into the temple in the underdark for some unknown purpose.
The Spider Tower - A towering spire built on the back of a giant spider, none have dared to venture onto the back of the spider. Unlike the Crawling City, this spider is determined to keep creatures off of it as it wanders the underdark.
Abandoned Dwarf Keep - A long forgotten Dwarven keep, once inhabited by many Dwarves from The Elder Keep, now sits dormant. None know why the Dwarves left it, but terrible noises can be heard from inside if one ventures too close and echoing through the underdark.
The Mushroom Forest - Much like The Scaled Forets on the surface of Everton, Everton’s Underdark has a forest of its own made of mushrooms the size of trees. Colorful and full of subterranean life, the Fungusfolk have often offered travelers tours of the forest. Many claim it is a sight that cannot be put into words.
Mindflayer Castle - While the Ithilids retreated from the surface long ago, driven underground by dragons, they still hold much domain over the underdark. This castle is just one of many strongholds the Mindflayers still hold, ruled by Ti’rash the Ancient.
