Name Meaning: Dark and Pure. From Irish naming

Born into a family of nobles, Keryen found growing up she was always...well very bored, life of trying to be proper and courtly was always so droll and she always preferred interacting with the servants. Her favorite household servant was the house wizard who she would meet in secret to learn all she could but sadly discovering she had no talent for magic but what she did have was a near unnatural gift for alchemy especially in creating explosives.

One day her wizard friend challenged her that she'd never be able to match the power of his fireball spell. After a week she proved him wrong and manged to get herself banished after blowing apart half of her parents estate.
Turns out after stealing as much as she could and leaving, her family was found out to be committing a great deal of tax fraud against the king, so really luck was with her and she continued to have that luck meeting 3 gals and joining them for a cure for her boredom and new things to test her explosives on.
