One of the staples of the beach mares culture has been their production of a certain type of magical rope which allows them to hunt at sea, tame wild beasts and traverse harsh terrain.

Unfortuntely, due to a conflict some years ago the village ended up worse off and forced to relinquish their stash of this ancient tool of theirs. There are however some that remain and it's left to the strongest and bravest to go into the stormy waters to hunt.

Bit of beach mare lore for you :P
