Here is a closer look at the body of my McNally Strumulele, including the sound hole and bridge. According to the website, the top is made of spruce and the back is maple. The sound hole rosette is different than the one shown on the website. I was lucky to get this moon-and-stars design which i really love.
It appears that the bridge was supposed to go on a 3-string strumstick and was repurposed for this instrument. I don’t mind the extra slots, but it is a little annoying that they didn’t bother to stain the insides of the grooves for the uke strings. That’s just a little sloppy IMO.
