Wow, with all the terrible sonic remakes that have been made, I would not be surprised if Sega turned this into a real game. I was a really big fan of sonic but it just seems that there has not been a good sonic game since the sega genesis. It's almost as bad as the endless line of mario games that nintendo keeps making, or the endless line of sequels in most of nintendos franchises. I mean I really like these games, but the premises really gets old, especially after the 20th sequel. I'm a big fan of halo and grand theft auto, but I would not buy Halo 23 or grand theft auto 30, by the time they get that far in the sequel chain I would have lost all interest.

The difference being that people buy and enjoy Mario games.
