For the past 2 years a large portion of my submissions on here have been from whatever happens to be at a interchange yard here in Dothan, Alabama. It’s 3 tracks and goes for about a mile and a half. Normally it’s switched as needed and CSX provides the power. For some reason the shortline here the CSX interchanges with (The Bayline) brought in some of their own muscle. It’s a Huron & Eastern EMD GP-38 from way up north. It’s probably been dropped off here by the CSX for a 2 hour jaunt south to the bayline’s nationally renowned locomotive shop. This probably won’t be the last I see of this guy before it heads back north.
