The white wolfess Razira slowly walked through the short grass, the edges of which almost tickling her bare feet. It had been a miserable last few days at her hero 'job', filled with events that she simply didn't want to reflect upon at the moment. Instead, her meandering brought her to the edge of a gently moving stream, perfectly matching the calm breeze, the water almost crystal clear in the late morning sunshine.
With a sigh she sat down, and not long after she took off her wolf necklace, she took a look at it before placing it down next to her. Staring out across the moving water, she thought about it and how it related to herself, being the werewolf that it partly represented.
How long has it been since I became a werewolf? she pondered. To be able to freely shift between my human and wolf selves?
She looked down at the water and swore that she could see her human side, her 'secret identity', the total opposite of her heroic wolfy self, staring back at her. Was I happier back then, before all of this happened? Before I knew of what being a hero was really like? Of its excitement, yes, but of its horrors as well?
Would I give it all up if I could, and just be a plain normal human again?
"Razira!" A call from somewhere behind her brought her out of her thoughts. "Lunch is ready! Get over here before I eat it all!"
She looked back and smiled as her gaze focused on her close ally Wolfgirl. Her fuzzy friend was busy cooking over an open campfire, and upon smelling the air with her enhanced senses, Raz could tell that it definitely smelled good. "Coming!"
Picking up her necklace and placing it back around her neck, she got back to her feet and headed back, her varied thoughts and issues put aside for the moment.

I don't even know what to say about this stunning piece of art by
Evangellos. It's so thoughtful, so emotional, that I could devote so much more to its meaning. But for now, I'll leave it to just this short piece.
A massive thanks to the outstanding artist for this wonderful artwork...and a gift amazingly enough as well! Looking forward to when he's open to commissions again, as I have more in mind!
