Oh yeah, something worthy to spend an audible credit on

I’m just curious; how do you apply to get a published work made for audible?

Someone pointed me to ACX.com. Basically put a script up for auditions, make a deal with a reader, then they produce the book. (You can also technically do it yourself but why do that when you can get someone trained)

Yeah I’m a fan of Yahtzee Croshaw’s books (from Zero Punctuation) who narrates them all himself

...I hope he narrates them differently to Zeropunctuation, lol.

As an audio content creator working through multiple platforms, be careful with Audible. They have been getting very handsy with profits and just outright under reporting numbers so they don't pay you. if you are able to release it on another platform I strongly recommend doing so.


also, you ever need help with audiobooks in the future, let me know. I've made entire audio dramas and the like and would love to be of assistance.

I just finished the audiobook and man... I was so upset at the ending.... I was in tears wanting to give some much needed hugs. such a strong character to make me feel so attached to :) well done sir... very much looking forward to the continuance

I have the audiobook, which I have now played three times while driving. I also have the hard copy; one of my favorite novels.
