The air was becoming quite cool now, a few hours after the sun had set, so Lyra decided a campfire was in order. Gathering some logs and kindling, Lyra placed them in the fire pit. She lit the fire using her breath, making sure that it was only enough to start it, not turn it to ash. The starry dragoness sat down, bathing in the warmth of the campfire. Closing her eyes, she focused on what she could hear. Aside from the crackling of the fire, she could hear the insects of the forest start to chirp in their unique ways. The occasional breeze causing the leaves of the trees to rustle. She didn't hear any passing car or siren blaring that you may hear in a more urban setting. Opening her eyes, she saw the the clear night sky, full of sparkling stars as far as the eye can see. An indescribable joy rose within Lyra at such a beautiful sight, and unbeknownst to the dragoness the stars all along her body glowed brighter than usual. While Lyra enjoyed everyone's company, sometimes it was nice to just to enjoy nature by yourself, no one to distract you from its beauty. Besides, Choco and Dial were the only ones who even partially enjoyed camping. "Still," the dragoness thought, her starry body beginning to dim, "I wish I could at least share this view with them."
I have mentioned that Lyra enjoys camping, so it was time to put my money where my mouth is... or it would be if I had actually paid for this piece.
