Actually more based on Matt Wagner's Grendel: Black, White and Red. I'm familiar with Sin City, but never read it. Never found Frank Miller that interesting.

I know I'm rather late to the discussion - but I am curious as to the text; is that a font that you used, or did you paint the words?

...And that image - just those two colors on a dead black background - would make an AWESOME Tee-shirt.

It's a font called Crimes Times Six. Dunno where I got it, but probably from one of those free font sites.

I'll keep the shirt idea in mind.
