I"ve always loved to fantasize about the kinds of things a microfur could do for work in the great big world that we live in. And well, what better job for a micro than a dentist? :) The oooonly problem would be the dangers of mixing predator and prey species. As Theodous quickly discovers when his friend Carthage comes in for an appointment. Because well, I don't know about you, but it seems like the panther is drooling a liiiitle more than usual. And umm, call me crazy but, should he be purring like that? :)

*Smiles broadly* Heyyyy, that's an extremely good point Shiriki. :) In that case.... *Whistles nonchalantly as he spreads a nice, thick dollop of toothpaste on the brush and goes to town on the teeth. And even making sure to "Accidently" get a few drops on Carthage's tongue* Ahhh, there we go. That outta confuse his taste buds long enough for me to get out of there. :)
Yeah, that would certainly be a lot cheaper. He could likely get three guards and still come out ahead. Not to mention even getting the insurance would be all but impossible, seeing as how simply going to work could be classified as an "occupational hazard", much less actually doing said work.
Heh, a micro dentist! Seems like it's been an idea not many have tried on for some reason. Kinda cool actually, having a micro brushing yer teeth.
...oh great, now i wish I had a micro to brush MY teeth cuz i'm too lazy to brush 'em myself most of the time! XD

*Smiles* Well that sounds like a task better suited to a micro friend or mate Matt. Because then you'd never have to worry about appointments and such. They'd just be there for ya every day. :)
*Giggles* And yeah, it pays really well actually. Because with a micro, you would hardly ever need to use expensive X Rays and diagnostic tools. So the offices can afford to pay them good wages. :)

Sadly this excuse doesn't work with my macro lizards. Their teeth are the sort that fall out and grow back periodically, the only dental care they ever need is the occasional sledgehammer to the face to remove a tooth that has been causing problems.

Oh dear, you do make a good point there. Kind of makes for a tough getaway if your wings are covered in kitty drool. And easily pinned. ^.^ Hehe, but thank you. It's one of many ways of pampering larger friends, that I've always loved. Can honestly see micros making exceptional dentist in the real world. No need for fancy mirrors, or magnifying glasses. And they could polish up your teeth to the finest detail. :)
