Lynn the Delivery Catcoon
"Hey! You ordered one pound of basilisk rock powder? Yeah, I know you placed it this morning! That's what you get with the elite service. The joys of guild benefits amiright? Say, you're my last delivery for the night, wanna grab a drink with an aeromancer?~"

The Arcane Guilds of Iyr in 1444 are goliath organizations, with the influence and resources of entire kingdoms and members numbers rising to the tens of thousands. To maintain infrastructure of that size and scale, they often lean on third party services to help lighten the load and keep their circle of progress running smoothly. Dungeoneering Teams are hired to collect rare and dangerous ingredients, mercenaries are hired to handle incurred debts or collecting illegal runaways, and the many colleges and establishments under their banners will offer work to refugees and the homeless in return for food and shelter. However, no service is more vital to the lifeblood of the Arcane Guilds' middle and high tier work than that of the Arcane Couriers.
Started in response to the disastrous effects the War of Gold and Crimson had on the supply chain of arcane-based supplies across the continent, the service quickly exploded into an elite, highly respected and lavishly paid club of skilled aeromancers and linestone arcanists who could get anything delivered anywhere in record time, weather and war be damned. While too small and elitist to ever be a proper guild itself, the Couriers instead work hand in hand with them, providing a special exclusive delivery service to those who qualified. Many higher ranking members of guild have admitted that this quality of life perk is the primary reason they stay subscribed to their respective guild, and it's hard to fault them for it.
Lynn herself ended up in the tightly-knit Arcane Courier family when the seven year old racoon-cat knocked on their door days after the Bascendatan siege of their headquarters town of Foley had ended, during the infamous War of the Wildfires. Orphaned and raised on the streets most of her life, the cat had heard the Couriers would adopt and train promising young aeromancers and arcanists and had made a beeline for their manor. All it took was one adorably messy display of their air magic and they were taken in by the head ladies. Over a decade of training followed, learning the tools of the trade including making her very own staff catalyst for travelling, and a outfit of her own featuring the Courier colors, to easily mark her as a delivery witch.
Lynn takes her job very seriously but with a healthy level of playfulness and lightheartedness that makes her easy to shoot the breeze with. Delivery work is her entire life and she loves every second of the job, and all the perks that come with it. From getting to see every corner of the Iyrian continent, to meeting some the most eccentric and well-known characters in the magical world. She loves tavern life and will spend off nights drinking and flirting to excess, more than happy to take any girl or guy to bed if they win her fancy enough. When not getting into off-duty debauchery though, she can often be talked into sitting down over a cup and tea and having a long, casual discussion on whatever the matters of the day are, political, religious, or otherwise. She takes the words of others to heart and has her own strong opinions of everything from Azerian Independence to the effect of Gidirian trade tariffs on the Bay of Arokonos.
Recently, she's been running a lot of jobs for freelance mages of the guilds, helping supply their continued work to help Iyr recover from the War of the Wildfires. From medicinal herbs to constructing catalysts, fire runes to funeral incense. Everyone needs something, somewhere, as the pieces are put back together and the land heals it's wounds, and Lynn is proud to be a part of that process. Whether it's helping a Warlock clear out a nest of bandit activity or a lone Priest of Tehll providing burial rites to a small town who lost many sons in the fighting, they can only do what they need to do with her help. Come the hells or high water, Lynn will make her deliveries in record time, every time, because every satchel she carries could mean the world to someone else.
And maybe, just maybe, you'll catch her during her downtime. No need to worry about her mood, she's always in a good one, and a date is always a fantastic excuse to unwind and spend some time with a local~
