I have always created my music as if it were a musical score for a movie. And, indeed, some of my music has actually been used for this purpose. But this particular song was made for a scene which doesn't exist.
Ice Dream is a whimsical piece about dragons and fairies.
The scene opens with the view slowly moving into the mouth of a large ice cave with crystaline looking stalagtites. There are little lights dancing around. Fairies and fairy dragons wisp around inside the cave in a playful frolic.
The view continues deeper into the cave until it opens into a large chamber of ice. Inside, a large dragon is skating elegantly on the ice on his claws. The fairies and fairy dragons are following him as he moves, buzzing around him... following in his dance.
He skates out of a large opening in the side of the cavern which opens onto a cliff. It's storming outside the moutain, but our dragon spreads out his great wings and alights into the storm.
For a time, the fairy dragons fly with him, buzzing around him playfully. But the storm is too severe for them. He leaves them behind as the great majestic beast pounds his way through the storm.
The wrath of nature storms against him. The thunderous rain and gusts of wind batter at his scales as the storm worstens until finally it seems that even the great dragon is overcome, and he falls from the sky.
The view follows him as he plummets through a volcanic opening in a mountain. His eyes open, and he opens his great wings and lands elegantly within a golden chamber. There are several other dragons in the chamber, and he has come to be with them. The dragons greet their friend.

Yeah. I've found that listeners don't see the _same_ imagry that I made this song for. But it does seem to always invoke whimsical or beautiful imagry of some sort. And usually along similar lines, even if the specifics are different. Kindof like how people have varied dreams with different themes but revolving around the same basic elements or subject.
Most everyone I've played this for has been able to describe a different scene it made them see. And the fact that it evokes a scene in your mind at all is really the point.
Just like my artwork, my music is intended to take you into a different place. To show you other worlds where dragons live.

My .. This music really speaks to me..it whispers a tale of sorrow and strength, The timeless lore of Dragon and Elf, The sonet of grace and of flame, burning in everlasting bane, realing from the pain come the calming rains, with peace at hand lay down the spears and seize the arrows that aim, growing army's call to resist the downpour, with size overwelmed they presist into the night to assist, in the flame that shrouded this plain so it may again.
....thats a poem i came up with in exactly...how long was this song?...im going to post this right now...thank you...thank you so much...this has helped me ....i will watch you fav this music and do what i can to help you .... I thank you again...

Foxamoore. You are quite good to have evoked such a reaction from me, faved, and downloaded, now if you'll excuse me I'm going to hunt through your gallery to see if the rest stack up, who knows you may just add another watcher to the list.

I just now found this Track and I must say that your skills as a story teller as well as a musician are incredible. As with all tracks I read your description first then listened, and While it brought Images to my mind that might not be exactly what you had wanted it did bring a Chill that I am not sure I will be able to shake for some time. It is July in Texas and I am wearing two shirts now....
