:chuckles. Naw, they just move out further into the lake. I"m still getting used to the ducks here on the Western Flyway - used to live in Texas - Central Flyway there. Some very different species out here - need to go out with my big binoculars and a birding guide book.

Naw, that was the players from the CHL hockey team that lived next to me a few years ago. Asked one of them to keep the noise down at night, he started to approach me in my garage, stopped, looked at my work bench, the safe and a bunch of gun cases. Asked "Are those guitar cases?" I reply, "Nope, Rifle Cases." Mr tough jock suddenly backed out of the garage asap and they avoided all contact with me

I have some ducks that hang out at a water hazard at the golf course near where I live, plus more at the little lake park down the road. Some of the geese stay year round at Watson Lake. If they make a mess there, no one notices or cares. Now they are messy and noisy if they settle down in a residential area - but no problem out in a more wild area. Funny, I thought with you being on the Atlantic Flyway you'd see them. Guess they don't go that far south

we get European Geese here and there... we call them Zombie Geese for the way they look...
