You may recognise this old bicycle; It's the same one from the "You Ain't Going Nowhere" winter picture. Here it is again wearing its summer plumage!

The day I took this picture last summer I was inspired to rescue (okay, steal) this bike from its resting place behind a nearby house and fix it up enough to serve as a winter beater. I don't use my nice bike during the winter, so I have to do without unless I can find a beater bike.

So, when I tried to free this bike, it was tangled in the weeds, which I expected.
It was also rusted to the point that the bike's frame was fused to the equally rusty old scaffolding that it had been leaned against who knows how long ago. Which I hadn't expected...

I'm afraid this old bike Ain't Going Nowhere.
