Here comes Yingxi! Posing done by me, all assets are from World of Warcraft's own files, and I do not claim ownership of any of that.

The Wildstream family name goes back centuries on Pandaria. It started among fierce warriors who, while trained by incredibly skilled monks, historically didn't completely share in all their views and values. Not that this is a problem in the slightest, the community on Pandaria believe in freedom of opinion, views and values, as long as they do not bring bad energy.
Combat training is nearly essential for any resident on the isle. The wildlife is dangerous, and the more intelligent outside tribes are daring, so one should always be prepared for the worst. The Wildstream family knew that fists and sticks wouldn't cut it if a band of Hozen decided they wanted to raid the storehouses, burn buildings and harm the innocent children. Thus, the art of swordplay was passed down through generations, accompanied with it an ancient blade made by the family's first father. This blade eventually found itself in the hands of Yingxi.
One day, the mists shrouding Pandaria parted, and people from the outside world found their way onto the island. And with them, came their wars. Armies of Garrosh'ka Orcs burned, pillaged and crushed village after village, and among those, Yingxi's parents had fallen while they were browsing a cider shop. Suddenly, Yingxi was alone, fending off what few she could before deciding to abandon her bakery. During this escape, she met with more outsiders who came in peace, calling themselves the Alliance. She decided to bring them with her to a nearby temple, which they would use as shelter. On the way there, many of the group were wounded by gunfire, and she would help tend to their wounds. This was when she decided that she should join with them to drive the Horde away.

That's a short excerpt of her backstory that I just felt like writing. I've been RP'ing as her for a while now on WoW, and figured I might as well finalize her by bringing her into the fold of characters I own. I do also plan on getting on full back to writing, and her story might be what I will focus on for a while. She's been fun to toy with, and I hope to get artwork made of her soon.

I like to discuss history from the perspective of someone who looks at the events in Pandaria, not from one side. For both sides who came to the continent, staged a war that the people did not expect.
Both sides are to blame for what happened. The Alliance and the Horde, in pursuit of resources, plundered property and plundered wealth.
The holy places meant nothing, and the tombs that had been gutted were mostly taken by outsiders, giving nothing away. The cities were covered with propaganda and a civil war was unleashed in the mountains, with the militia under the flags of the faction.
That's what happened to you. Factions are an evil force. They take it, and then make it weaker. That's how Yingxi disappeared. I succumbed to my emotions, but I abandoned my home and the traditions of my homeland.
I am curious about the experience, or rather, a big story in your performance. Maybe the story of the experience, the development of the hero in the drawings can. In some moments, simple crafts. Anything that can capture the moments. We would be interested in those story arcs that you will have, we will wait!

Indeed. Both sides tore the landmass apart fast. But as it was with Yingxi, she only felt the damage the Horde caused, and viewed the Alliance as saviors who were working to drive them away, and joined them with this mentality in mind. She befriended a small taskforce of Alliance soldiers, and joined them before long.
