Tritell - Tritell is the largest continent in the world, and is a frozen land covered by sheets of ice, snowy tundras, and snow covered tigas. The harsh climate has made a full colonization effort nearly impossible, as the only way to access the continent is via airship, as the waters surrounding it are covered in massive sheets of ice. Located in the northern hemisphere at the top of the world.Country
Mosfell - On the fringe of the habitable world, in the frozen tundra of Tritell, stands the country of Mosfell. Named after the only major city in the region, it’s known for its coastline taiga forest, high reaching frozen mountains, and magic tree.Cities
The Frozen Keep - In the Frozen Underdark in the Iced Peaks of Mosfell, stands a once thriving city of Dwarves. However, after the Mindflayer Kirish the Dominant was driven below ground, he took the Dwarves as his slaves, eventually twisting them into the corrupted Duergar. After a long revolution against Kirish, the Ithilid fled to his isolated tower, and hasn’t been seen since. The Duergar now venture to the surface on occasion, to search for slaves to fuel their coming expansion.Notable Locations
Lost Statue of King Itar - During the several centuries of enslavement, the Duergar had long forgotten their god, King Itar Long-beard. When they were still free Dwarves, they constructed a statue to their god in one of the hot springs of the Frozen Underdark to honor him. The statue still stands, falling to disrepair as time goes on.
The Boneyard - Millions of bones, over several centuries lay in haphazardly stacked mountains, from the slaves of both Kirish the Dominant and the corrupted Duergar. From the bones of men, dragons, and everything between.
Chilled Mushroom Forest - Much like the Underdarks in other areas of the world, the Frozen Underdark also maintains a healthy mushroom forest. During a relatively warm season, settlers from Mosfell left to establish a foothold in the Frozen Underdark. While the initial months were successful, ever since the following winter, the village has never been heard from. The buildings remain, but the settler’s fates are still unknown.
Hidden Corrupted Cave - A little known entrance to the Frozen Underdark, lays large mounds of bones and puddles of dried blood. Stories from Mosfell tell of a terrible void corrupted creature that ventures out in search of lonely travelers. What happens to said travelers is never mentioned in the original telling of the story, many have modified the story to them being eaten by the creature.
Lone Tower - When Kirish was in unopposed control of the Frozen Underdark, she ruled from this tower with little concern. Now it serves as her prison, unable to leave while Duergar patrols stay near her tower. The only reason they’ve yet to storm the Ithilid’s tower, is due to the power she harnesses through the void corrupted crystals that surround it, known as Blood Crystals.
