For 2021, I literally wrote CTF for 
wyraachur 's birthday. :O With HIM as the subject.
The creature in question that Peter becomes in this story is based off of a Basan, a fire-breathing rooster from Japanese mythology. (An origin of Blaziken?) But also Djinni.
I'm having fun writing the character if Khasut. He calls himself "Shaitan", perhaps it's to disguise his real name. Or maybe there is deeper meaning. Either way, he thinks he's right, so in his mind he's liberating Djinnkind from the raw deal their creator gave them.
Yes, Djinn here are bound by the three rules - They can't consciously kill another thinking being. they can't make anyone fall in love or alter their free will. They also cannot resurrect the dead.
