Here is an arctic fox that I have named Hawthorn as in Celtic mythology the fox is the animal symbol for the Celtic Hawthorn Tree Sign, and also has the fox taking on the role of a shapeshifter, changing from a 6ft tall human to a 3ft tall animal, or even a 7ft tall anthro form in Hawthorn's case as the need arises, which may or may not be a possible trait that Hawthorn has as he comes from deep in the forests of Ireland, leaving them to favor looking genderless until necessary of which they're truly female, but this tricky little fox seems to have taken a liking to following Sorrel around, and has somewhat become part of the Wulver family acting more as a family pet than a usual family member with all of them seeing some of Hawthorn's capabilities with her being faintly tied to the Fae, a very much feared, avoided, yet respected race of small, fairy-like tricksters who will do quite horrible things if they see it as a favor to someone, but never thank the Fae as they'll take it as you now owing them for their supposed assistance, and Hawthorn has a tie to the Fae, allowing her to perform her shapeshifting between feral and anthro, as well as it being how she found sigils and spells to resurrect herself in case of an incident after being saved from a few Fae who wanted to take her to their realm to be fattened up and be food.
