A project I pitched to Nickelodeon several years back. (They didn't buy it.)
Funny animal private eye team with the old switcheroo: Lamb is the tough guy, Lion the wimpy dilettante wanna-be detective. (Lion has deep pockets which is why the always broke Lamb puts up with him as a partner.)
I wrote a "pitch bible" exploring the world they exist in, with supporting characters, recurring villains (one of them in the following picture) and capsule episode descriptions.
Beautiful show opening storyboard here (plus much other pitch art and a full episode "beat boards") the work of the sadly missed John "JP Morgan" who left us way too early in 2010. John had a wonderful goofball/Rocky & Bullwinkle sensibility. It was a total joy working on this with him. Some more info, art samples on him here:

Whoever owns Jay Ward's characters has tried to license them out separately - when what made them work were being rotating back-up features on the Rocky & Friends/Bullwinkle Show TV series. None of them have been as a funny (or as successful) as individual properties as they were on that series.
Netflix tried a Rocky & Bullwinkle series a few years ago that really sucked because they were full half-hour stories & the humor/pacing just couldn't sustain that length. (Plus for some reason they reshaped Rocky's head into something ugly for no particular reason while Bullwinkle still pretty much looked like his original self.)
