kerothestrange of Rashila, one of the lesser-known tiggies in the Zerih family. :P

Ohhhhh goodness meeeee two months is too long a break when I'm still accumulating stuff. o.o;
Ah well Happy Mayternity everyone! Perhaps I will try uploading more than one or two pics this month. Would people be okay with me uploading like one every couple days? I guess that's better than doing a deluge all at once. I still need to write stories for these images and see where they take me. Either way, I have a BUNCH of images to upload yet, but I'll take feedback and thoughts on what to see more of as I go through it. XD
You may remember Rashila from this pic with Elaine: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/39832536/
Well, anyways, I figured it was time to see more of the cute baker, and here we go! Feel free to ask more about her if you want!

"Are you sure you want to do this, muffin? You could easily just relax and take the day off,"
"And ruin a good opportunity like this? You've been married to me for a while. You should know I'm not the relaxing type when it comes to recipes."
The male tiger placed a paw on his partially-clothed hip. A pair of boxers, a scraggly t-shirt and a bathrobe did little to hide his morning fatigue. Some minutes ago, the same tiger presented a tray of breakfast delights to his beloved, and while the contents of the tray now lay within their recipients satiated stomach, the motherly tigress had a different appetite that needed to be whet.
Rashila stood in her underwear and brushed off any crumb that rested on her bare belly. Her earlier offering proved slightly crumbly for bed, but she knew her husband worked hard to get the meal just right. She was not a picky eater, she thought, but she did swallow her fair share of misfires at Table de la Samson. The breakfast was one of the better ones she had lately, and it did well to keep her occupying cubs sleepy that morning. She wished that were more the case the previous evening, but the pregnant tigress was at least awake and not stumbling out of the bed like her husband. She glanced to said husband to see his posture slowly bend forward, eyes fighting to keep open. How much caffeine did that cat need each day?
Rashila stepped up to her husband and pressed her belly into his side, and she nuzzled into his neckfur. This woke up the darling kitty enough to elicit a warm purr and a gentle rub from his tail.
"Thanks for breakfast, sweetie. You look like you're ready to collapse, though. Don't you want to go to bed while I get baking?"
"But you've been baking for a while now," the increasingly-tired gentlecat retorted, both smirking playfully.
"Hehe, okay, but if you fall asleep on the floor, I'm not going to be able to pick you up," Rashila warned as she walked over to the bathroom and freshen up. "Meanwhile, with the kids at Elaine's, I have a whole lot of time to try out some new roll ideas..."
It took a while for the maternal kitty to get ready, but before long she was walking down the hallway toward the kitchen. She had not seen her husband since going in the bathroom, so she was waiting to find him slumped over the dining room table snoring away. She was used to him being rather lethargic in the morning, which made getting the kids together an adventure in of itself. Thankfully, she was already well awake by then to get everyone to speed. That did not mean she was always successful, though, and as her duties as mother increased, her ability to get all of the kids together at the same time diminished. Her most successful morning always began early and involved sweet breakfast biscuits, and she wanted to try a few new ideas while she had the chance.
The tigress stopped when she turned toward the kitchen to find her husband dressed up and holding a wrapped box in his arms. The tigress lifted her paws up in surprise, a light blush creeping across her cheeks while her lover smiled wide and approached.
"Happy Birthday, Rashila," he mrowled and kissed her neck, rumbles heavy in his chest. Before she could ask where her husband went, he stepped back and handed her the box.
With the lightest of hesitancy, Rashila took the box in her paws and began to tear apart the paper with a playful fury. With the first few swipes of her paw, the tigress's eyes lit up. Seen amid the chaos of birthday scrap, the purple kitty saw a bright white apron, streaked with a sweet pink set of lines. Sitting atop the folded apron sat matching ribbon, ready to be tied to the mother's body alongside the apron.
"I figured if you wanted to try some new things out, I figure why not try out a new apron and bow as well? I also checked, and we should have the ingredients for most of what you want to make...but I know how much you love shopping for stuff, so I'm more than ready to take you out if need be."
Rashila took a moment for it to come together, and she hugged her present like a gleeful child before she began to put it on. The apron did not cover too much of her body, but it got the job done. She cooed at the little frills running along the straps, and she rubbed at her belly near the front pocket. She slowly tied the ribbon in her hair, an expert in bows nearly as much as she was at baking. Once it was all together on the cute tigress, she turned toward her husband and gently flicked her tail up toward him.
"What do you think, hun?" She smiled softly, a warm blush across her cheeks.
"I think we have the cutest baker around," He mewled, stepping up to her once more. "The cutest bow for the cutest belle."
She purrled and kissed his lips softly before she waddled to the kitchen to begin baking proper.
"With charm like that, you better make sure the kids stay another night," she teased, "but for now get on an apron from the closet. I'm going to need a helper for this cake. To bake and to eat...if he's lucky."
"Yes, chef!"
