Avenrath, better known as Aven, is a giant, horned bear from the mountainous country of Odissvog, a frigid hellhole where the hardy thrive. Little is known about himself or the tribe he comes from, though he bears a strange curse, whereupon being heavily doused with water, is able to change his sex.
