The scenery is transforming into a soft & gentler environment to better reflect the fellow's new personality?
I definitely get a sense of narrative from the sequence, not just a collection of moments. Plus his pose reflectc the lyrics in each picture - verly cleverly done!
(BTW Skunks are my favorite species in your work...along with all the others.)
