I have drawn so many noodle dragons and serpentine creatures lately, so to change things up have a fluffy and stubby little flower dragon! The scales are similar in texture to a flower petal, though the soft feel belies their shocking toughness. The fanned wings resting atop the beast however are quite delicate, much like a birds, and their short length makes them not suitable for long flights. A fairly docile species, they prefer to avoid needless fights and excel in sleep and paralysis magic to slow down or incapacitate their aggressors in order to make a quick escape.


This Lineart took a reeeallly long time to complete (most of this can be attributed to the process of giving the lines more depth, and all of those flower scales), but I’m really happy with the end result!
