...Anyway XD There's gonna be a Venasaur in my Pokemon comic, so I decided to work on drawing her. You have no idea how difficult it was to figure out the damn thing's structure. Honestly, what real world animal's anatomy can you use as a reference for Venasaur while keeping it true to the Pokemon? I just winged it, and after a couple of doodles I think I figured it out... I hope >.< Not gonna lie, I've been dreading trying to do this (though it turned out being SO FUN ARGHHHH). I'd tried it in the past and failed miserably XD I'm glad I finally have an idea of what I'm doing because, though I'm not sure if she'll be appearing much after the first instance, there's a Venasaur who makes an appearance very early in the comic.
Oh, and the character is the elder of some her of Bulbasaur/Ivysaur, thus the bags under the eyes. That's my pathetic attempt at making her look elderly. No, she's not stoned I promise XP
Also, that pouncing pose. Honestly, if you were to ever see that coming at you, your best option would be to stab yourself to death quickly before it landed. I have a feeling that being crushed by that would be very unpleasant >.<
