This was an experiment with digital painting. I just scanned a sketch I had done last night and set it to multiply and began painting over it instead of making it a drawing with hard lines and the like, as per my usual art. I'm rather quite in love with the result. I think I want to keep working in this way for awhile to kind of hone my painting skills. It's new and rough at the moment, but I really like the direction this style could take me.
Anyway, this took about.... 6 hours in mostly SAI with a little bit of Photoshop. For the galaxies I used a photoshop brush set which can be found here: http://sunira.deviantart.com/art/Ne.....ushes-18959502

yes, M. Night Shyamalan is going to pay dearly for this outrage to the AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER fandom.
my lord, did you see the earth-kingdom part? they had a LITTLEGIRL do the earth-bending boy and then they were all dancing instead of bending! =,= they had like... 10 people dance, and nothing happened! They didn't even visit the firekingdom avatar-temple.
If they ever do another Airbender movie... they'd better remake Book1: Water, and instead of making it only 100 minutes long, they should make it 2.5 hours long, as is the limit for movie-lengths, save for a few films that actually took time for a good rendition and good acting =,=

I agree, on all accounts. Personally, I think it would have made a much better Animated movie adaptation. Could you imagine a similar style to the show, but since they have more funding can make it a more complex animation style. It could have been GORGEOUS. But alas, it is not to be. :(
