Aw, I hope they can find a way to run away forever sometime, too! The art is gorgeous, but the little vignette adds so much to it, and makes it rather bittersweet, as well. It's nice to know Alterise has someone who treats her so kindly, and values her for more than the physical, even as that makes the physical much more meaningful, too. The clasped hands in the image and her expression really convey the emotions of the moment so nicely, too, and it really is a beautiful scene all around!
