
Shapeshifting is not recommended for the more well-dressed magicians. It looks very dramatic, certainly, but it can ruin a good outfit in seconds.
Of course, that doesn't stop everyone.
I wanted to do a more exaggerated pose than usual with this one; I'm fairly happy with that. I'm not sure about the tail, but I'm quite pleased with the boots and the crackly magical aura of blueness, and the backlit/ambient lighting turned out much better than I was expecting, considering that I normally only draw people in single-source sunlight. This was drawn with Prismacolor brush pens, my favorite things in the world, and colored in Photoshop.
