Usually I'm a fan of a little spice, but they must have also used a hop that also simulates heat in their IPAs. I don't know which one as they constantly change their recipes, but it is an abrasive, bitter spiciness. Unlike the habanero used in Frank Brewing Co's Honey and Habanero or Wellington Breweries Raked Over Pineapple and Mango IPA, which gave the beers a pleasant enough spice heat.
