Hello, guys. we are currently in a really bad situation.
Let's get down to it. 6 years ago my mom met a man she loved dearly, and for 2 years they were really happy, it was a pleasure to finally see my mom not alone and surrounded by care and love. After 2 years together he asked her to leave her job and just be a housewife of some sort. Mom was a very respectable woman with a good salary back then. I and my younger brother were not so sure. After a couple of months, he persuaded her and she left the job. Me and my brother were already living by ourselves, so if she wanted to do that, it was her call only.
After that things started to get worse. Six months later he had an affair with a housemaid. Later this girl threatened my mother's life, she cut her face on every picture in the house and told her that she will suffer. Mom was scared and come back to live with me for a while. Her "husband" fire the girl and asked her to come back. That did not actually stop him from affairs with his ex-wife and other stuff in the house. Mom was telling me all this but could not leave since she still loved him and hoped he'll change. He always said sorry and played a victim and told that all women were using him.
My mom got another job, not so big but still enough to get through, three years ago. That is when the hell began, he started abusing her, calling her a whore and a bitch that does not trust him and that she can do whatever she wants. Mom helped around the house, they got to travel from time to time, it was his way of trying to groom her so she will forget all the shit he did for several months. My mom got into depression and psychotic breaks because this man basically stripped her of her own life: her job, her family, and her friends.
Right now I called my uncle to come help: her ex left and took the car, so SHE won't be able to get away from him. I told her to pack all the thing before he comes back and my uncle will help her.
My mom needs a prosthesis for her teeth right now. This is the number one priority around everything else, because I can cover food, apartment and my education but this bill is 5000$, my savings are only 1200$ for now.

I'm really glad she has you guys for support to get out! A lot of victims end up with nobody to go to for help when they're ready and leaving can be the most dangerous part. I recommend a new P.O. box or using a friend's address for mail but leave her old address registered as the main address so he can't find it on whitepages etc. I can send some resource links in notes if you'd like - depending on where you live, you may be able to get access to other resources from battered women's shelters or local abuse prevention programs as well.
