Name: Deneb Morun
Ordained name: Deneb of the Shield
Age: 55
Height: 185cm or 6.1 feet
Weight 95kg
Hair: White (Shaved)
Eyes: Hazel
Occupation: Knight Captain
Deneb was born in the southern most region of the Kingdom known as the Golden Scar. It is the land closest to the Orc controlled territories and a harsh, hostile place where every day is a battle for survival. Deneb had always been gifted in combat, and it wasn't long util he was noticed by one of the King's recruiters. Although the war with the Orcs was not yet in full swing the Kingdom was still embroiled in many inner battles with the rebellious provinces and strong men were always needed for the King's fight. Deneb's father was a very respected and influential figure in Southern politics, although not technically a lord he still qualified as nobility according to the Northerner customs and so Deneb was allowed to participate in the trials of Knighthood. He passed them with flying colours and so at the age of 20 he was ordained and began a long and successful career under service to the King. Deneb never had any respect for that pig Conrad however, but he hid it well, it would be no use for him to be hanged or worse and so he did his best to serve the people with honour and whatever pride he could muster. One day while touring the farmlands he noticed a brute of a man beating his own small son half to death. Deneb was not a particularly angry man, nor was he impulsive, but the sight of what that piece of scum was doing to the boy ignited a rage in him that he had never felt until that moment. He ran the piece of trash through with his sword and kicked his body into a nearby ditch. The poor boy was in a bad state, the Knight lifted the trembling child into his arms and decided right then and there that he would adopt him. He had not yet been able to father children of his own and so this seemed right to him. He raised the boy as his own father had raised him, he was a strict father, maybe too much sometimes, but he did love the boy, would probably die for him too. Reinfred grew into a capable man all too quickly. His only regret was never being able to comfort his son's heart, which was broken beyond any means he had to repair it.
