This is my first marker drawing in a long time.

I wanted to redraw SlapHappy, who has served as my fursona for years, in a way that would allow me to use her for something involving children outside of the furry fandom. Most people don't take well to anthro alien dogs with wide hips and boobs, you see.

So I squished her down a bit and PRESTO!! Instant family-friendly cartoon character. She looked lonely, though, so I made her a friend named Jabberwocky. What better friend for an alien dog than an alien cat? Believe it or not, I was happy with Jabber's character design the first time I drew him. That doesn't happen often!

I know exactly what I want to do with them, but I won't tell you until it actually happens. =]
